To those posters who want GJ out...who would you have replace him? Not many around with his experience and his contacts at upper government levels in Aus and China. His vision for the merger was ruled by his belief that a group with extensive reserves of both magnetite and hematite (providing SDL comes up with the goods) could rival, and compete with,the CVRD/BHP/RIO's of this world in global iron ore markets. I agree that the merger proposal came a bit too soon, given SDL'S progress to date but it is cerainly the way to go! Why settle for a Mini when you can get a Rolls Royce a bit down the track? I most certainly will be voting FOR George.
