Your comments about many DJs bags prooves the point that there should be upside to Myer sales IF they improve their Stock Lines.
I went into Myers and DJs yesterday, DJs prices on most things seemed higher by 20% even 50% higher prices in DJs.
DJs Stock just looked a bit more appealing, nicer clothes etc. So possibly more to do with stock selection rather than business Model.
So I guess that confirms what Lew has said recently, the stock isnt as good as it could be if those that were designing the stock, or choosing the lines to stock had a better idea of what people want.
IMO the Business Model is as easy shooting fish in a barrell, IF the desirable stock is put in the stores at the prices people would pay.
In many ways I dont even think its a price issue, most people would buy an item if its what they want, and also generally wont buy an item regardless of price if its not what they want.
The key to Myers future is having the right awesome Stock on the shelves, at any price IMO.
