When I got the alert while I was at work, I got a bit excited and the thought crossed my mind that if the grades were a decent boost on what we had seen, that I would be able to walk straight out of the store and never return... not to be

Glancing quickly over the Ann I honestly thought it would drop back to 11c, possibly below, I didn't anticipate the rise in the morning at all. Finishing at 12.5 is a very bullish sign imo though. A little concerning that a bit of fomo may have occurred by people who didn't fully understand the Ann and could be nervously looking at a loss at the moment. Although maybe they did fully understand it and others didn't...

IMO this result could have returned a value of nothing and it wouldn't have changed the likely long term outcome/s for CLA in comparison to what we got today. Still a few deep assays to go, maybe this one happened to miss most of the cobalt mineralisation we are after, however the drilling usually paints an accurate picture.

The rapid progress being shown here is invaluable, a mining study initiated and a few links regarding the choice are interesting and reassuring to say the least. EM and AMT survey's to commence soon and plenty more assays due with the maiden JORC still on track for Feb. In addition to the further drilling, sampling and mapping on other areas.
A drill rig remaining on site, so still the potential for a nice surprise at any moment!

The most interesting part to me was 'The sulphides present are noted to be considerably coarser than elsewhere in the deposit.' I'm certainly no geo and learning bits and pieces as I go along fyi. The assumption I'm making from this statement is that there may be favourable implications to this particular form of mineralisation being mined. If so what this is and the extra costs at the extra depth versus processing savings, if this is true, will probably remain to be seen for some time. After all, underground mining in Namibia/Africa is much cheaper and easier to achieve than Australia. I find it interesting that this specific detail was communicated. Anyone have anything they can add to this?

I'm sure the next 12 months will have more answers for all and I'm very much looking forward to CLA having a very positive start and continuing it throughout 2018!

Thanks to all who add to the discussion here and I wish all a great 2018, It doesn't need to be said, but I'll say it anyway, this is definitely one of the better forums around here... by a long, long way, Cheers.
