since they changed the hotcopper site this weekend I can now see your posts again - will have to do something about that.

regards your topic - I don't own anything that I'm in a panic about, and what I do own is well and truly properly insured, so i can't lose anything.

as far as stocks/shares go, it would probably be wise to hedge with some shorts. OR, you can opt to do what i've done, move some of your super to cash.

i would not suggest moving anything into anything locked long term though - i think we'll have a massive 3 yr rally once this correction/crash has run its course, so you might want to have some cash handy to participate in that.

all markets are now failing to make new highs, i said mid october the DOW had seen its highs for the yr, DOW won't be making any new highs now until sometime next yr. Same is true for all other major markets now as well.
