Seems to be the Asian investors to me.
On 6/11/2007 RAU announced it "has arranged a placement of 76,434,220 shares to a group of sophisticated investors at a share price of 7.5 cents."
This announcement covers the purchase of 77,564,102 shares at 7.5c and 8.99c on 7/11/2007. So a few more were shares were purchased on market.
RAU traded significantly higher than the above prices on 7/11/2007.
