The only one confused is you. Probably more a case of delusional. Several posters, including me, have shown you exactly why your rationale is wrong, describing your error in detail with evidence being provided.

But in spite of clear explanations and evidence you cling to your erroneous reasoning and invalid rationale for failed prophesy....that being the delusional part, clinging to failed arguments in the face of clear evidence to the contrary, evidence that proves you wrong.

This need not be a case of personality or ego. It doesn't matter who provides the evidence and explanations, it doesn't matter if it's me or anyone else, we are irrelevant because the evidence and the explanations stand on their own merit. Which is what you fail to consider. What you don't want to consider. What you reject simply because it is not something you want to believe.

The evidence is clear because the quoted verses themselves describe the event that they themselves promise will happen within the generation who were there.

You can't escape that, there is no rebuttal to that, the verses say what they say.

So you simply reject without care or consideration, instead clinging to your own failed 'explanation' regardless of its failure to account for what the verses themselves describe and what they say.

That, Mr Wotsup, is the shame of it.
