Has anyone read any detailed articles on the mining method(s) at dobsina?
I tried to find this one without luck - Peterec D., 2010: História baníctva v Dobšinej. Minerál, 18, 4, 292-322 (in Slovak).
If these veins are in flat-dipping shear zones the ground was probably dodgy there may be pillars of ore left or if they went for near full extraction then the stopes would have been backfilled. The most likely backfill would be waste and low grade from the mine. If so I wonder what grade the stope fill might run?
