Plimsoll, on Sina Weibo, wechat, Xuwai and GDT, those mainlanders in the P.R.C. With many more millions than me in cold frigid New York only want places and properties in safe suburbs so they pick the North Shore of Sydney mainly the upper and middle part, some parts of the Sydney eastern suburbs close to the water but away from the Long Bay prison.
For Melbourne, they only now trust Glen Waverly close to where the secondary college (I think it is like junior school or middle school pre freshman college year) and also Balwyn (although the transport seems prohibitive and crime is descending down from Doncaster (I assume the crime comes from Doncaster up in Melbourne North and not the Yorkshire town of the same name).
In Auckland, they only like Bible Belt and Mt Roskill but Auckland was always a dangerous town even in my day so relatively speaking, Sydney does seem more “safe” than Melbourne as the safe conurbations appear much bigger. Sydney seems safer than Melbourne and Melbourne seems safer than Auckland.
I am judging safety by those safety conscious with at least $2 million AUD or $1.5 million NZD to spend on 7500 sqft or as u Aussies say 700-800 sqm. But if u follow those that put their money where there mouth is, my trading days on Wall St tell me, that u do never get it too far wrong. Only IMHO please DYODD.
