Just thinking back on the chat on the phone the other night he also told me about some drilling that went on there in around the early 90's. They found some more good ore deposits but the good ore was not of a substancial size and fairly deep along with the ore around it probably not of sufficent quality to make chasing the good ore worth while. But with prices and technology I guess that viabilities change.

On the plus side (if the is one) for the tailings etc no need to spend money drilling, blasting, mining it and carting it to the surface with the price of fuel, tryes and availability of tyres.

I drove a dozer there for a bit in around 1988 can't even remember who the principal company or contractor was now but they just seemed to be more mucking around a bit lost at the time. I guess that with the right gear and technology, money and good management that it should be a wothwhile exercise. I have no dout that there should be more known about whats there and whats not because there has been lots of good Geo work done there for a long time
