I'm inclined to think voting yea to 1,2 & 4 may be a sound option FID.
To turf out the entire board creates turbulence and disruption (although there has been precious little to disrupt to date) the present incumbents have hardly earned another shot. The share price has been driven into the floor. I wonder how many of them have been to the minesite in PNG to see what is going on there?
Maybe Mr Arthur's addition can get some momentum into the board.
He certainly has a long list of achievements, including a previous term with NIU, which reads to about a page in all. Which gets me thinking. Why would such an experienced and qualified Director (and the other wannabees) want a job running a tin pot little $4.5m MC like NIU. The way things are he is almost on a hiding to nothing, unless they feel there is more to this story.
Anyway, just my astral travellings for today. I don't really have a firm view either way, as I'm just groping around in the dark with this. So please do your own research as always.
