Not only bad luck, also a long series of operational errors and strategic misjudgments. Having said that, saving a debt-ridden and unprofitable company like Paladin during the most savage POU downturn in the history of nuclear power was always a big ask.
For the record, I ‘invested’ in Paladin at 19c and rode it down to 7c. Hurt a lot. Lost a bunch.
