I cannot recall reading within asx announcements that shareholders could apply for additional shares?

I recall in (I think) the September announcement that the "terms of issue" were only 1 new share for every 8.5?? shares held with an additional free option for every 1 new share allotted.

I read the latest ASX release and it stated that refund cheques would be sent out soon.
