Thats a really good point - there should be more info about what they do and achieve etc. I'm still a little sus on why JH 'picked' GC as the Board member up for rotation at the last AGM. I thought it was interesting that the Board recommended voting for both AS & GC but there is still some doubt whether AS did in fact vote his shares according to that recommendation. I asked GC and he said he definitely voted his in favour of AS despite their difficulties - he felt the Board should support each other. I get the impression AS & crew did not.
Having been involved in another stock that has put enormous effort into getting it's Board right for the phase ahead I can vouch for patience and using external help/advisors on finding the right people - they are certainly out there but it is difficult to find them.
One small bump in the road to consider for shareholders if this does go to a vote and the 2 offshore directors get kicked is who will be the interim Chair? I don't think the new CEO should do it and I doubt Matt has enough experience so the only one with the knowledge and experience would be Geoff unless someone is parachuted in as the new Board can appoint someone in the same way AS & MS got on their in the first place. Just food for thought.
Scaine - I understand you perspective and don't the threads look normal now! The only weird things are when people respond you wonder what they are responding to and when you turn the page on HC and it says there are 4 more posts in this thread and your turn to read them and there is actually only one! Peace to all (including those on ignore) and it may still take sometime but from Q2 2018 onwards it appear ADO has potential again. Not sure if it is enough to get me back in but will be thrilled if it runs - maybe some will be able to afford to buy me a drink
