    re: ***miningnut - nickel Miningnut,

    I have a few questions:

    1) The following are my locations for "live" nickel prices.

This one is the BBC site. I don't know how accurate it is but it generally seems pretty close to what others are saying.

    http://newsvote.bbc.co.uk/1/shared/fds/hi/business/market_data/commodities/default.stm

The next few were giving live prices up until a week ago and then they changed the web addresses and I haven't had time to figure out what the new URLs should be:

    Nickel
    http://www.futuresource.com/quotes/quotes.asp?symbols=LNID&type=TermSupl

    Copper
    http://www.futuresource.com/quotes/quotes.asp?symbols=LCAD&type=TermSupl

    Tin
    http://www.futuresource.com/quotes/quotes.asp?symbols=LSND&type=TermSupl

    Aluminium
    http://www.futuresource.com/quotes/quotes.asp?symbols=LAHD&type=TermSupl

    Lead
    http://www.futuresource.com/quotes/quotes.asp?symbols=LPBD&type=TermSupl

    Zinc
    http://www.futuresource.com/quotes/quotes.asp?symbols=LZSD&type=TermSupl

So my first question is do you have other sites with live prices. I have others which give last night's close.

2)My next question is how high do you think the Nickel price needs to get before we see the extraordinary jumps we were seeing a few weeks ago (25% - 40% jumps in a single day. Will we not see that again until Nickel gets up to 17,000 per ton?

    3) My third question is about Copper. As I understand it Nickel's shortage of supply is a worldwide shortage which won't be relieved any time soon. Copper on the other hand I'm told is in short supply only because of one or two suppliers being caught short but that soon they'll catch up with demand and the price won't rise as quickly. I'm holding MRX and I'm sort of getting impatient.

Sorry to load you up with all these queries but you do seem to know your stuff.

    - Z
