How many shares will need to be traded today for the shorts to cover their 6m outstanding?

I do remember some knowlegeable poster suggesting that to buy (or sell) a large block of shares quickly took a turnover of a factor of about 5 times the volume.

To cover 6m shorts it may take 30m turnover.

If it was/is the shorts covering today, then only 19m shares have traded so far. This may have the potential to go for another run this afternoon.
