Yeh selling to pay for the options doesnt add up to me. For the whole register to pay for the options at 34c would have amounted to 6 odd million shares being sold. I would guess as nine lives said most holder would have been able to find the funds. If you were holding 1 mill shares its only $8000 to pay for the options, really not that much. So my guess would maybe be a 1/3 sold to pay for them, that only amounts to 2 mil shares at 34c obviously increasing as the price went down but it still doesnt get anywhere neear 5mil shares let alone the 20mil traded that day.

As for martis and the palm tree, he announced the palm tree dead "all over" at 27 cents.
