haha about poor bhp management. The WMC buy, where they trumped xtrata, was not about luck. If anything RIO are the co that has, until alcan, missed out on M&A opportunities and consequently has become prey.BHP certainly could retrace if they end up offering more scrip; however in 18 months time they will be far north of $45. I expect charlie aitken to slap a $70 price target on bhp once the t/o goes through.
