Thanks for your very informative posts with examples given. Funny you mentioned ARU as I did receive the NUP spin off in that one also. I guess we will have to wait and see what pans out with the GAU spin off of the nickel assets and how they go about it. I’m trying to ascertain if I’ll need some dollars to convert my GAUOA’s soon.

Yes, I do agree that GAU won’t want to be holding many or any nickel shares at the end of the exercise. It’s fairly obvious why this is taking place as SLV aren’t remotely interested in GAU’s nickel assets. I guess it amounts to SLV paying as least as possible for GAU in not having to buy the valued nickel assets as well.

I suppose the same will apply when SLV finally executes its takeover of GAU???? ie option holders may need to convert to receive SLV script? I guess by then that most or all option holders would have already converted due to the nickel spin off.
