I thought you'd say that, so I prepared this 10 day minute chart to show that exposure of the cobalt exploration (by virtue of the thread we are currently using) is a much more likely explanation.
The most likely narrative is that HLX finally got some exposure among the market of investors and traders looking for cobalt.
It follows that the interest in cobalt caused the chart breakout.
