Oh how uncivilised is this weather...
Lucky I have Airconditioning
I really like the post that
@FlashFish was replying too there
@TrendTracker... It was by
@Cadel.
Cadel Said..
How good is it that we have a 100% rise in the last 6 months and we can still be pissed about how undervalued we are, and with good reason.
Looking around at the other listed lithium companies it has been a little disheartening.
Ones market capitalisation has become more valuable than Galaxy despite not producing.
Their neighbour is making alot of headway in getting to production and looked undervalued for quite some time, so it isn't surprising to have seen them move up.
Another peer is reliant on an expansion to even compete and TBH no one really considers them to be a tier 1 lithium company with only a 66.5% ownership in their project.
I browse other forums. I don't comment.. I don't like.. I just read and hopefully learn something.
Each forum has a particular style and personality..
From the ones like Galaxy that enjoy a bit of a good laugh with each other whilst sharing for instance the charts of shipping that
@Bux436 was providing to the very informative posts or alternative perspectives which the Galaxy forum has been famous for.
Then there are other types of forums that are like a chant...
'One of us! One of us!'
And I sit there reading what they have to say scrolling through announcements seeking out evidence of what is being said..
How many tonnes?
Cashflow in 1-2 years?
You already have cash flow?
Wha!
You don't even have a frikken mine!
Of course.. These lines were used on previously... It's the same pattern all over again.. Never stick around to follow things through.
Someone put it to me that it could become an episode of Black Mirror where everyone associated seeks out the most extraordinary story to out do each other..
It would possibly be based in a futuristic boiler room where no one sees each other..
The title of the episode would be either..
Warming each others pockets'
Or...
'The circle jerk'
Can't work out which title would be the best.. But the title must give a hint as to the story line..
Beside that point, I am also so glad this type don't invest here..
I have... Maybe once.. Or twice.. For science..Tested the users of this forum.. To see the reaction..
Bring up a take over in here and everyone is skeptical.. Downplays it..
Meanwhile other forums..
Not only would they carry that story on..
They would beg and pray for it..
Go on.. Venture into one of the forums and say..
Sure there are different types of investors..
The well researched, to the poorly researched.. Those that follow the mob, and those that... I will particularly point towards
@maxi1981 on this... Those that research, find something they like.. And keep research and learning whilst having fun.. Not following a mob, but also having some fun in the process.
Admire that guy.. Hats off to him.
@bfor3108 did a very good post recently and I'd encourage others to read it..

Here are a few quoted points I took from it that are too good to overlook..
It seems a very likely possibility that in the next two years, some massive deals are going to go down amongst miners/processors and companies in the market for lithium. VW, Daimler (Mercedes) and Toyota are really only just getting started on this caper. For them it is a BIG caper. They are going from relatively sure footing to very unsure footing. However, all three have said they will be investing billions.
Toyota will be relying more heavily on Panasonic. Tesla is already a Panasonic customer. I think it is fair to say Panasonic will very shortly (if not already) be struggling to find the raw materials to satisfy all these customers and the many I have not mentioned.
If I were Panasonic, VW, Toyota, Daimler, Tesla...etc. I would be very keen on letting the market know as little as possible. The mines that are going to supply this demand are not up and running yet so...
why would you be shouting your intentions or thoughts about off-takes and deals. It doesn't seem wise for GXY or any of its potential customers. I think this is a different story for smaller miners and bigger ones like PLS who really need the market support and the deals to get the funding and borrow the money.
They have debts and deadlines given to them by others. GXY is relatively free of this pressure and knows that the enemy troops (market) have not advanced far enough for the muskets to be accurate enough.
...Why blab when you know it is not what your potential customers want and you don't currently have production to supply them anyway. One thing all parties could agree on would be to keep their mouths shut for the moment.
This leads me to believe that secrecy is a crucial tool at the moment. Hold your cards close to your chest. Neither GXY, Panasonic or others has a great need at the moment to trumpet what they are doing.
For Panasonic (and others), the manufacturing facilities are not ready. For GXY the mines are not ready...
They also don't want to be sold short or give away any control that might be regretted in future.
When the enemy is rushing towards you and you are lying in wait, patience is key.
Sun Tzu: "O divine art of subtlety and secrecy! Through you we learn to be invisible, through you inaudible, and hence we can hold the enemy's fate in our hands."
We are at $4.20..
And over the weekend GALXF stormed up to the equivalent of $4.31.
I think the market is waking up to how undervalued Galaxy is by comparison to its peers.
Have said it before and will say it again...
The next quarterly will be telling and I will be holding up Orocobre and Galaxy's results size by side.... Ensuring I compare in South Pacific Pesos
Should Galaxy's revenue be twice that of Orocobre, then I would expect that to get some attention as investors start challenging their investments.
