i could not have said it better myself!!

it really is a scary thought.

to give you an idea of the credit situation on a more personal and ridiculous level.

my eldest daughter finished her very last exam this past week, now does her internship at a hospital for a yr, when thats done she'll be a doctor in medicine. fully qualified!

she got a credit card from the NAB this past week, she does not have a full time job, only just finished studying, and they gave her a limit higher than any limit i've never had myself - then was told that, she's already been pre-approved no questions asked for a limit of 40,000 because of the degree. I was then told, a friend who has progressed a little further, took that amt the bank gave them, and bought a new car on credit!!

that my friends, is sillyness!! they are pre-approving all this debt. craziness!!

I just hope they end up getting the job and have the money management skills to pay it all back.
