Look at the Eben Alexander case, a neuroscientist describing his near death experience, presumably a reliable observer and claimant, a perfect case you'd think....yet those who did dig a little deeper than surface appearance found not only inconsistencies but strong hints of dishonesty. Of course, not all NDE's are false claims, there is a phenomena being experienced by some but not all who have had close brush with death. but how or why this happens to some has yet to be determined.

You wrote that there were strong hints of dishonesty in the case of Eben Alexander. I don't know if you can provide any evidence for that. He says that clear lucid thinking doesn't happen in the state of partial clinical death as you claim that it does.
