I'm not wrong.
12% is not a lot of water. As I said water is a good thing to have.
google search "aquifer support" and "offshore oil wells" and do as much research as you can.
As offshore oil wells mature in fact the water % rises and can reach 70% levels plus (so why are we worrying about 12%?) - say in year 7 - without causing any concerns - or necessarily any production declines.
Measures such as gas lift and tapping more wells into the same reservoir to step production rates back up - can keep the high flow rates maintained without the 70% water causing problems.
Gas lift will have the rates back up to 20,000 to 25,000 soon and then AED should be adding another 20,000 bopd plus soon by bringing another well into production - the southern well.
So we should be looking at 40,000 to 45,000 bopd soon.
Do as much research as you can - and dont worry - everything is fine and normal for offshore wells.
