It is ageist. Most aged pensioners have paid their taxes all their long working lives. Analogy with appointing and paying sudanese policemen with taxpayers money to bring sudanese youth to justice is a very weak one indeed. Did these criminals pay the Australian government anything at all? Oh, that's right, just the reverse is true.

Read previous post, paying taxes is not putting money into a bank to withdraw later. There's more rorting of the pension than any other welfare payment .
