Actually if we want to get scientific there are four different species of humans alive today.

    1. Sub-Saharan Africans (lets just call them African for the rest of the discussion).
    2. Eurasians (African/Neanderthal hybrid).
    3. Melanesian/Australian Aborigines (African/Neanderthal/Densovan hybrid).
    4. African pygmies (African/some other unknown homo species).

We don’t know too much about the Melanesian or pygmy hybrids, but we do know from genetic studies that the African/Neanderthal hybrid had (and still has) a lot of genetic incompatibility which were selected against. Basically the genes from the two species don’t all get on and the genes from one or the other species wins the fight in the gene pool. This is similar result to when you cross a lion and tiger (you get a liger by the way).

What we don’t know (mainly because nobody has dared look) is what any of this means. It is possible that all 4 of these species is identical in every attribute, but nobody knows. About the only thing we do know for sure is that any scientist silly enough to study this question would find themselves unemployed and vilified almost instantly.

Enough science, back to our regular right verse left show
