    Farmers look at gross margins ... $30/t of carbon is bordering on ridiculous. Even at $100/t and at 1t/ha you only need to produce 250kg/ha of wheat to beat any carbon payment. Or 2 1/2kg/ha of sandalwood nuts (currently fetching $40/kg in shell)! And wheat is going much higher than carbon in the future ...
