The purpose of any communication by the company is to keep long term share holders informed.

Just to be sure that there is no confusion. Company announcements are NOT targeted to traders.

Most people who are whinging about the company's communication are traders who want to make a quick dollar on daily share price movements when an announcement is made.

Announcements should just provide meaningful information to the market when required by relevant changes in the business.

When traders are loosing patience because they misjudged trading in the company's shares it is irrelevant for the company's management.

Sorry, you can probably hear my frustration about traders in TV2 shares.

The traders will look back at the end of the year and check how much money they made trading and they will realise that the long term holders will have far superior returns in my opinion.
