I usually vote liberal and like Turnbull but this announcement really sums up the coalition's inaction on important issues and recent loose spending.

The project may well be viable but is not the most advanced geothermal project in Aus. That is laughable. I believe Origin Energy recently bought a 30% stake in the most advanced project and this isnt it.

A look at the chart wouldnt indicate the market thinks this project is nearing completion.

I really hate politics...they leave it until 4 days before the election to announce a significant amount of funding for geothermal and then spend it on the wrong project.

Picking winners isnt ever the best way, Kevin if you are reading this on the bus between shopping centres, my broadand is sweet and wireless is the future so just buy a few top shelf rigs and rent them out to those who have the most prospective tenemants, this will deliver a Geothermal revolution for Australian families.
