as an australian i absolutely despise our cricket team. forget that sangakkara was given out to a shocking decision, they all went up as if it came out of the middle of the bat. no excuses please that they must have thought it hit the bat. This win at all costs mentality prevails in the team which is great for winning games, but they lose the respect of anyone who genuinely loves cricket and sportsmanship. One of the best innings ever played on Australian soil was ended through pressuring the umpire into making a bad decision. Ponting personifies the ugly Aussie, taking the reigns from McGrath and Warne who were abominable sportsmen. i guess they'd rather win games and they're paid handsomely for doing that. winning with dignity - they could take some lessons from the Windies.
