    gm, I was not referring to myself or your friend or any of the other casualties, so don't try and twist it together.
    I was putting it into perspective of all those allies of the US who were dragged into the war along with Australia, either to pay for services rendered, or to prove just exactly which side of the line they stood. If you put it into that perspective then as I said, politically even you would have to agree it was a token gesture.
    Don't try and twist the actions of those who served there with the politics of the bigger picture. They are two separate issues which demand separate perspectives.
