My comments relate to the latest harvest of sandalwood, and show a considerable drop in the expected heartwood and oil content of the heartwood. This is the present, and needs to be addressed urgently for the future. The effect is that the wood from this harvest is worth only 1/6th of the expected levels. So forget about the price of Sandalwood Oil being worth only half of it's value at say $2,800 kg, the latest harvest result puts any investment value near to zero. You can tell me to move on, you can ignore what I have to say, but I can only state the facts....please show me I'm wrong. Unless the quality of the trees improves there will be no future investors......WHY YOU ASK?....they are not worth the trouble waititng 15 years to harvest, for no return!
