Well I've seen the Chairman being unfairly derided in here by that same poster, being accused of acting improperly at the AGM wasted a lot of time at the AGM berating him in person, sufficiently that a complaint to ASIC was mentioned. More angry posts in here. This is all AOK supposedly.

Why is that? Because the Chairman did nothing improper that's why.

So contextually, yes, I think the derision of the self assessments has happened before and has gone on long enough.


I attempt to bring some context into the situation, express a bit of mild irritation at how long the misapprehensions have gone on for (since the AGM in that case) and what do I cop in return?

A load of ticking off, insults, door slamming etc. Now we have in-jokes about how many people have me on ignore. It's immature, it's bizarre.

It's always an eye-opener when you're attempting to tell people something they don't want to hear. And about which, it's possible that you might be better informed than they.

What I'm saying is that this particular poster needs to inform himself about minimum standards of Directorships which isn't what the tick boxes were about.

It's fun trying to engage in here on points of law.

In case you haven't noticed, I declare myself largely immune to the mob mentality in here. I'm remaining in here out of the fact that this is a place supposedly for open discussion and I maintain my right to have a say. Regardless of what the mob decrees.

In doing so, I have to set aside the prolific psychological assessments given to me free of charge ("crazy" and variations thereof), the slurs, the over the top reiterations of why I deserve being put on ignore, being briefly unignored so they can do it all again.

It's comical, it's farcical. Forgive me if sometimes I tire of having to retain a standard of behaviour others require of me, but do not engage in themselves.


So thanks for being yet another keeper of the public discourse, which involves ticking me and only me off. Nobody else it seems is worthy of being corrected? Like I said, this is farcical.
