You are right pear, but he is not a learned person. He cannot put together a rational argument. This is the type of academic that comes out of today's economics courses. The whole of classical economics has been taken out of the education system, and we are left with the theories of Milton Friedman, Mises and Ayn Rand. Gone are the theories of economic rent and the labour theory of value. The history of economic development, let alone Marx. It's all just MV=PQ. Nowhere is there even any distinction between asset prices and commodity prices.
