"The lawsuit filed by Cedrus Investment Ltd, owned by businessman Rani Jarkas, on national businessman Harun Abidin has been rejected by the court.
the case of Harun Abidin and Cedrus Investment started from Harun's report to Polri that Rani Jarkas as the owner of Cedrus Investment allegedly embezzled Harun’s Cakra Mineral shares placed in Cedrus Investment.
In the subsequent process, the police issued a request for blocking of Cakra Minerals Tbk, Cokal Ltd, Pan Asia and ORH Ltd to KSEI to avoid any transactions. Furthermore, KSEI blocked the shares of Cakra Minerals. This, by Cedrus Investment is considered an unlawful act, so they filed a lawsuit to the court.
The panel of judges in the decision of the case number 918/Pdt.G/2016/PN.JKT.Sel, made the consideration that Harun Abidin's report to the police in his dispute with Cedrus Investment was not against the law."
