From my understanding if you have a Self managed super fund you can do an off market transfer up to $25000 as a tax deduction towards your personal income per year and up to $180,000 per year but as a non taxable contribution .
Yes you lock away the shares until retirement but only pay 15% tax on capital profits .
You can then use the funds in your SMSF towards other share or alternative investments such as property.
