Sorry mate, solicitors and accountants do not produce any thing. They contribute nothing to the wealth of the country. And the proficiency argument is rubbish. Whilst you and I went to university for 3 or 4 years we had a bludge. The digger was working sweating his back side off.
The wealth should pass on - sigh! TThe valid argument is if the wealth of a country is concentrated in too few hands, then you cannot have an efficient capitalism system. It is the consumer who is sovereign remember? Do you want to go back to a feudal system? Are you a capitalist or not?
The term I want more or less tax with all due respect is nothing but asinine. You can't want more or less taxes unless you also discuss at the same time if you want more and less services. Do you want an army to protect our property? Do you want a police force? Do you want hospitals? Do you want roads?
