Investors need to fully understand what this really means. AusIndustry granting Recce the ability to claim overseas R&D expenditure has many restrictions around what can be claimed and when. It should also be noted that this allows Recce to claim this benefit each tax year for the money spent in that year as part of their tax return. Effectively the grant from AusIndustry is a reimbursement only and that reimbursement is claimable after the company has lodged their annual tax return (normally many months after the end of the tax year).
Accordingly investors should be wary of the total amount that might eventually be claimed and when the funds from any claim are actually provided to Recce.
