Conclusion on page 6 of first link shows how they are addressing their rural sewerage treatment problems in recent years, and likely never even heard of the word "Fluence".

Second link shows that they have been installing sewer treatment systems to rural villages across China in larger and larger numbers for some years now.

The mabr China dream looks to me to have been a con job on easily misled investors, myself being one unfortunately. Some since sold at a large loss. Some like me hang on to hopefully get their investment back.

I'm willing to bet that if they got something with the 80% efficiency of what Fluence can offer they would go for it. Not gold standard but serviceable and a whole lot cheaper without placing precious water resources in the hands of outsiders.

I believe everything now rests with the uptake in the USA after the Stanford approval, and around the rest of the World.
