Yes, Theodosius the "Great", who, by way of digretion, was a Spaniard, and NOT of Greek extraction, was not made GREAT by the Jews my friend..... He was indeed, a staunch anti-Helene (he demolished Plato's academia, put an end to the Olympic games, destryed all Greek ancient temples, and -in short- did his outmost to disconnect ancient -Hellas with the Roman-Empire!! For, Byzantio was nothing more than a continuation of the Roman Empire..... Now, you are aware of the persecutions of the Jews by the Romans....Not only in Judea, but also in Rome proper. In fact in our very own Constantinople (named after Constantine the Great, a matricide multimurder) Jews were persecuted, even as early as the Days of the first emperors there (that includes Theodosius). The Jews HAD ABSOLUTELY nothing to do with the Destruction of Hellenism.....They neither had the means, nor the state from where to mount such an "attack". If anything, the Jews suffered equally as much as the Hellenes under and by the Byzantines. I am sorry to say it, but you must approach the whole subject objectively, and unbiasedly.....
