    1. A defended position....they had over 250 marines. I'd say they were defending their position
    2. Taken from enemy forces.......I think it's evident what the English thought about any natives, let alone the aboriginals. Ps, did the land myseteriousky just appear did it, with no natives previously claiming it?
    3. From which an attack can be launched.......really? The expansion which happened afterwards never happened?

    Failing to recognise what actually transpired is nuts, but then after seeing what populist tripe you are capable of dishing out, I'm not surprised. "Oh the colonials only wanted to be friends" then why go in the first place, and why just take land even though it was obviously occupied?
