No I am not saying this, just explaining why no buying of land went on.
I sure for everyone's sake now it would have been best if the land had been bought by the English, but the outcome would have been much the same in the end.
It really gets pointless to carry on about things that happened in the distant past. Are the Welsh going to put in a native title claim on England on the basis of the Saxon invasions? How far back do we want to go with this silly idea?
