Apart from the long thick lines of "cloud" stretching from the South to the Northern sky, I have never seen a slowly descending one like today, and even though it was a bit windy, from the NE, the "cloud" did not blow away or really disintegrate but just came down very low, ... that's when I went inside..
contrails means condensation, but environment was clear sky about 30'C.
I know of a bloke here in Albury that was posting stuff in 2011, so will call him tomorrow to see if he knows any more about the "phenomenon".
