It is great new technology, but I am not sure how you can make money with this technology and what the regulatory environment will be in the future (It is likely the cryptocurrencies will be made illegal as they are mainly used by criminals to circumvent the law.)

People who invest in it are very brave or their greed makes them blind when it comes to the risks.

I think a lot of people will loose a lot of money, unfortunately.
