    Thanks @Money made, Ive been doing some reading and see your view on lithium, i do agree to some degree with your sentiment but the lithium story is going to be going strong for the next 5-6 years or so atleast IMO, even if vanadium takes market share for grid storage because of its benefits ect, lithium is the flavour of choice for car manufacturers for the foreseeable future. They have invested too much in the battery technology to suddenly change it for something else. when the next dominant battery chemistry comes along and is proven without a doubt it will be a slow transition of technology if at all it changes.

    Every year lithium batteries are getting better and with things like the new tesla roadster with a range of 1000km coming out on 2020 what more could you want? i know i wouldn't want to drive that far before i needed a break, id be happy to pull over for a decent rest and let my car recharge.

    I believe vanadium and lithium will happily coexist so to speak, they are both very useful and in high demand now and into the future with the wide range of uses for both. I dont see it as one vs the other, either way im glad to be aboard and look forward to what this year brings!
