It sure is difficult to be a LT Holder at times - I share your frustration. My first buy was in March 2016... (BTW...this was back when Verce was prolific with his multiple, long daily posts full of glowing support and research...). Although I got in early, I averaged up when it climbed to 14c (and Verce suddenly disappeared) and am now sitting with an average 9.9c. Like you, I have a relatively large holding and I have been patiently waiting, with my holdings down 20-45%. It hurts to look at it.

The market and sentiment can be a mystery at times. I tend to invest in the speculative end of the market, after some large losses in 'blue-chips' (post GFC and with suspect boards - I've even joined one or two successful class actions). I have enjoyed some big gains at this end of the market and overall I have done very well in the past few years. The downside is start-ups and species are very volatile and, at times, inexplicable... But, if you manage to find a good one, multi-bag increases are the prize. From my experience, the multi-bag profits seem to come out of nowhere, sometimes after long periods of little movement in the SP, or even a long slow decrease in the SP.

I rarely time the highs and lows perfectly so I tend not to trade and don't have tight stop losses (too much volatility). Even though I tend to buy and hold long term, I follow stocks daily... sometimes I need to remind myself of the big picture. I'm getting better at holding rather than becoming impatient or scared by paper losses. Of course it's important to cut your losses and sell if your research (or gut-feel) suggests there is something wrong with the product/company/board/market. Luckily, I'm also getting better at not falling in love with a stock and moving on if I need to.

I haven't sold any Nuheara. I am fortunate that I have other stocks doing well. It's only the SP that makes me question this investment - everything else points to large potential upside. (Some of my other multi-baggers went through similar doldrums). After months of waiting, I bought another parcel of NUH this morning... at 7.2c....and then watched the price drop to 6.7%! It is, as another valued LT poster wrote, 'character building'.

I look forward to the Quarterly (like you, with some trepidation at the expectations and reactions from the market).

I don't post much, but I'm a very active reader of HC. There are a few genuine, good posters on HC with greater experience and knowledge than I. While I can't offer you any any guarantees, I do hope that your paper losses are not hurting your everyday financial situation. Losing money is very stressful but I have found that the fear of losing money can be even more stressful.

Let's hope by mid-year we will all be celebrating.

Hi guys,

Good posts to read during this time of frustration of the share price and wondering if we have been betting on the wrong horse.
In times like this its the best to do a step back of the day to day trading and ask ourselves why we bought into this company in the first place.
Fundamentals will be our best guidance here an,d we need to look ahead for say 6 months and trying to figure out where this company would be.
We need to focus purely on fundamentals and earnings and future earnings to get a good picture.
Now I am doing that and with our two new products coming onto the market and the existing IQbuds I feel very confident.
I had the choice to sell my total holding at a profit the last week but for that very reason I did not do it.

The current share price means nothing , its where this company is going and the time it needs to get there to unlock the value.
I believe they are doing a good job in this and also think that at the end of this year we will see a much higher share price unless we get taken out.
This is always a possibility and should not be overlooked.
The latest share trading shows how the big players (or maybe only one) can do with the share price what they want for what ever reason that be.
Those algo's and bots are great to get a step ahead of the retail holders, and drive them mad in the process.
All I can say do your research stick to the fundamentals and do not get fooled by todays share price or the trading.
No one who has done their research can say that this company is hot air.
It is more the opposite, everything points it into being a winner but someone has forgotten to change the price tag.

Just do what I do, leave the computer screen and go to the beach for a swim it makes you feel so much better.
