At the giveaway prices (relative to other resource stocks) of the past couple of weeks Goodluck to them. I had another nibble yesterday myself.

Looking at BHP and peers on the footsie, plus oil and the dow up, we should get a strong welcome bounce on Monday. Time to move upwards again, the latest bout of woes caused by americans found diluting prime burger beef with rat, cat and dog and selling it to the world should run it's course.

The business world may at times appear to those burger merchants like it is ending (and it probably is for them), but the rest of the world gets on with it and finds food merchants elsewhere. Just in this case the burger merchants control the worlds financial press and make a lot of noise. But at the end of the day, their loss, someone elses gain. Business moves from "Disreputable Street" to London, Shanghai, Frankfurt etc.

Meanwhile the steel mills keep going, and in a resource constrained world the output simply goes somewhere other than to the american consumer.
