I agree that its not correct.

But the shares were bought through a reputable discount Internet broker, who also informed the purchaser of the reason for non entitlement, even though they were bought during the entitlement period.

I think my friend is more concerned with the shorting statement than the disallowing.

It proves that there is a group of people out there hell bent on downramping the stock, using stock bashers, cross trading, and shorting, to make money off mum and dad holders.
