Psychologically, I find through my journey that many investors having made a handsome gain expect their exposure to keep giving and I was no different in the past. As the unrealised gains start dissipating, the indecisions appears in the mind fearing that as they contemplate protecting what's left of their gains, the price moves back up. This can happen even on double tops as we experienced recently on this stock. I too left it too late but I don;t want to justify in a position where the gains are not worth protecting and see it moves from gain to drawdown.
Sell it and come back to contemplate another day. Each of us have a different degree of tolerance. Mine is now all about capital gains and very little about being right. Good luck to the holders.
