the ghastly prospect of laborland, page-20

    Banjar,
It does seem to come down to the fact that life is very much what you make of it.
John Howard's policies and hi-level management by his team of seasoned professionals have facilitated and guided a booming economy and a social system where you can be better rewarded for the value you can add.
This does not just mean turning up and claiming your seat and drinking lots of coffee but actually being involved in the process and adding to the success of the enterprise you are working for.

Your betterment is not a guaranteed result but not so difficult for most people of normal intelligence.

But there are always those who feel that "others" are holding them back unfairly when far more likely in reality, they have probably just reached their practical limit in a reasonably fair system.

In such a situation it becomes common sense to desperately crave for the return of the glory days of the unions when how well and consistently you licked the shop-stewards behind was more important than any job related skills.

Unfortunately that is the situation that rudd and a puppet labor party victory will throw us into and it will be a catastrophe for all hard-working Australians as rudd will hand the control of the country and our collective futures back into the clutches of the thugs of the union movement.

Lets all hope for a John Howard victory and future prosperity rather than a period of long and painful social and economic decline under the jackboot of union thuggery.
