As I mentioned some time ago in an earlier post, the involvement of LPD could well play a larger role here. As demonstrated last year, L-Max can produce CsFo from pollucite without much trouble at all. So here’s a theory. If we entered for example an agreement with LPD to mine our Cs with a deal to process Pollucite to CsFo for our own direct sale to a wholesaler like Cabot, LPD could keep a percentage of the LiCo3 from lepidolite, depending on the deal.
An agreement like this would give us high value CsFo already in liquid form and also LiCo3 from the overburden/surrounding lepidolite. As DC said, pollucite is very Shooty by nature and it would be more economical to simply open mine it if you can process the bulk ore for separate off takes. Potentially a unique situation really, if the dirt surrounding the Pollucite could be simultaneously mined and treated to produce valuable Li raw materials.
